&Aacute;lvarez anunci&oacute; que tendr&iacute;a su primera pelea del a&ntilde;o 2024 el pr&oacute;ximo 4 de mayo<\/span><\/strong>, aunque no dio a conocer el rival al que se enfrentar&aacute;, r&aacute;pidamente comenzaron a sonar nombres como&nbsp;<strong>Jaime Mungu&iacute;a, Jermall Charlo&nbsp;<\/strong>y algunos ten&iacute;an la esperanza de que se anunciara la tan esperada pelea ante&nbsp;<strong>David Benavidez<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>De acuerdo con informaci&oacute;n del periodista Salvador Rodr&iacute;guez,&nbsp;<strong><span style=\"font: inherit !important;color: inherit !important;margin: 0px !important;padding: 0px !important;border: none !important;background-image: initial !important;background-position: initial !important;background-size: initial !important;background-repeat: initial !important;background-attachment: initial !important;background-color: #1abc9c\">ser&aacute; el mexicano Jaime Mungu&iacute;a quien enfrente al pugilista tapat&iacute;o<\/span><\/strong>, destacando que ser&aacute; la primera vez desde 2017 que &ldquo;Canelo&rdquo; se enfrentar&aacute; a un compatriota, siendo Julio C&eacute;sar Ch&aacute;vez Jr. el &uacute;ltimo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La pelea se llevar&aacute; a cabo en el T-Mobile Arena, ubicado en Las Vegas.<\/p>\n<p>&Aacute;lvarez llegar&aacute; a la pelea con un r&eacute;cord de&nbsp;<strong>60 victorias, de las cuales 39 han llegado por la v&iacute;a del nocaut<\/strong>, adem&aacute;s de dos empates y dos derrotas.<\/p>\n<p>Por otro lado, Mungu&iacute;a llega con un r&eacute;cord perfecto en su carrera, pues ha logrado ganar&nbsp;<strong>43 combates, 34 por nocaut<\/strong>&nbsp;y ninguna derrota.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>A lo largo de su carrera,<strong>&nbsp;&ldquo;Canelo&rdquo; se ha enfrentado a varios luchadores que llegan invictos a su pelea<\/strong>, especificamente 11, de los cuales ha logrado derrotar a 9, siendo sus &uacute;nicas dos derrotas ante Floyd Mayweather y la m&aacute;s reciente en contra de Dmitry Bivol, en 2022.<\/p>\n<h2>&iquest;Canelo podr&iacute;a perder sus t&iacute;tulos?<\/h2>\n<p>Ante la pol&eacute;mica de que&nbsp;<strong>&ldquo;Canelo&rdquo; a&uacute;n no ha aceptado una pelea ante David Benavidez<\/strong>, quien es el retador oficial, surgieron los rumores de que el Consejo Mundial de Boxeo (CMB), podr&iacute;a retirarle su campeonato de las 168 libras, situaci&oacute;n que ya fue aclarada por Mauricio Sulaim&aacute;n, presidente del organismo.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"div-pos-7\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<p>&ldquo;Canelo pelea el 4 de mayo y Benavidez pelea el 15 de junio,&nbsp;<strong>antes de eso no hay nada de qu&eacute;
