Aunque ya no formará parte de la parrilla de la Fórmula 1, el mexicano Checo Pérez seguirá ligado de alguna forma con Red Bull Racing, equipo al que llegó en el 2021 y que, pese a haber renovado el contrato de Sergio hasta 2026, decidieron no seguir con el tapatío.<\/strong><\/p>\n

De acuerdo con una entrevista que hizo el jefe de la escudería austriaca, Christian Horner, con TalkSport, Pérez Mendoza tendrá participación con ellos el siguiente año,<\/span><\/strong> pero de una forma diferente a lo que venía haciendo desde que se convirtió en coequipero del ahora cuatro veces campeón del mundo Max Verstappen.<\/p>\n

“(Checo) seguirá con el equipo. Estará en un par de Show Runs con nosotros el año que viene”, dijo el directivo inglés en dicha charla. Horner también analiza la baja de Pérez del equipo de la bebida energética como “algo correcto para él”.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Fue lo correcto para él, porque tampoco fue agradable para él tener todo este escrutinio y presión”, añadió el directivo.<\/p>\n

¿Qué dijo Christian Horner sobre la renovación que habían hecho a Checo Pérez?<\/h2>\n

Christian Horner habló de la renovación a inicios de año que hizo Red Bull Racing a Checo Pérez y que tenía como fin de la relación equipo-piloto hasta 2026<\/span><\/strong>. Sobre este tema, el británico aseguró lo siguiente:<\/p>\n

“Sergio había firmado un nuevo contrato, pero obviamente hay cláusulas. No entraré en los detalles, pero inevitablemente existen obligaciones entre el equipo y los pilotos”, expuso Horner, que respecto al futuro del mexicano añadió: “Quizás quiera volver a este deporte, quizás incluso el año que viene”.<\/strong><\/p>\n
