Hermosillo, Sonora, 4 de abril del 2017 (CODESON).- La selección mexicana de hockey, la cual incluye a las sonorenses Eliana Cota y Ahydeé Castillo, cayó hoy 2-0 con Chile pero está preparada para enfrentar los cuartos de final del segundo round de la Liga Mundial Femenil.<\/span><\/div>\n
 <\/span><\/div>\n
Hoy en el último juego de la fase de grupo del certamen con sede en Vancouver, Canadá, el seleccionado azteca cayó en tremendo duelo ante las chilenas que de esa manera terminaron como líderes del sector con 9 puntos al ganar sus tres desafíos.<\/span><\/div>\n
 <\/span><\/div>\n
En ese partido actuaron como titulares el par de jugadoras de Sonora y aportaron su calidad en la cancha, tanto Cota, como central, y Castillo, defendiendo el arco,  mostraron destreza pero la arquera sonorense no pudo detener a las delanteras chilenas Sofía Walbaum (anotó al minuto 8) y Manuela Urroz (‘19) quienes marcaron las dos anotaciones.<\/span><\/div>\n

Todo parece indicar que el rival de México en la siguiente etapa será Uruguay quien  acaparó el segundo sitio del Grupo B tras vencer 3-2 a Bielorrusia en el duelo que definió ese puesto.<\/span><\/div>\n

Los cuartos de final están programados para el jueves (2:15 y 4:30 de la tarde, hora de Sonora) destacando que el otro duelo lo estelarizará el anfitrión Canadá –segundo puesto del Grupo B- posiblemente ante las bielorrusas.<\/span><\/div>\n

Los líderes de grupo están sembrados para las semifinales, por lo cual, la India, quien encabezó el “A”, está a la espera de los resultados al igual que las chilenas, pues dominaron el “B”, siendo el único equipo que mantiene el paso invicto en el certamen.<\/span><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
