{"id":265640,"date":"2026-08-04T20:44:36","date_gmt":"2026-08-05T03:44:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rnoticias.com.mx\/Portal\/?p=265640"},"modified":"2026-08-04T20:44:36","modified_gmt":"2026-08-05T03:44:36","slug":"embajador-de-mexico-en-ee-uu-se-reunira-con-la-familia-de-lorenzo-salgado","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rnoticias.com.mx\/Portal\/2026\/08\/04\/embajador-de-mexico-en-ee-uu-se-reunira-con-la-familia-de-lorenzo-salgado\/","title":{"rendered":"Embajador de M\u00e9xico en EE.UU. se reunir\u00e1 con la familia de Lorenzo Salgado"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>El embajador de M\u00e9xico en Estados Unidos, Roberto Lazzeri, se reunir\u00e1 este mi\u00e9rcoles con la familia de\u00a0<strong>Lorenzo Salgado,<\/strong>\u00a0un migrante mexicano que muri\u00f3 tiroteado por agentes del Servicio de Inmigraci\u00f3n y Aduanas (ICE) durante un operativo.<\/p>\n<p>El encuentro entre el representante de M\u00e9xico y la familia se producir\u00e1 en Texas, donde resid\u00eda Salgado, informaron este martes a EFE fuentes diplom\u00e1ticas.<\/p>\n<p>Lorenzo Salgado<strong>, un trabajador de la construcci\u00f3n que llevaba m\u00e1s de tres d\u00e9cadas en Estados Unidos, falleci\u00f3 el pasado 7 de julo a los 56 a\u00f1os tras ser baleado por los agentes migratorios durante una parada de tr\u00e1fico en Houston<\/strong>\u00a0(Texas).<\/p>\n<p>El Departamento de Seguridad Nacional de Estados Unidos (DHS), del que depende ICE, sostiene que Salgado intent\u00f3 arrollar a los agentes con su veh\u00edculo, una versi\u00f3n que niegan testigos y familiares, quienes reclaman una investigaci\u00f3n independiente.<\/p>\n<p>Era padre de tres hijos y estaba en proceso de regularizar su situaci\u00f3n migratoria, seg\u00fan su familia.<\/p>\n<p>La muerte de Salgado, as\u00ed como la del colombiano Joan Sebasti\u00e1n Dur\u00e1n, que muri\u00f3 por disparos de agentes migratorios en el estado de Maine el 13 de julio, ha generado indignaci\u00f3n de la sociedad civil.<\/p>\n<p><strong>El Gobierno de M\u00e9xico ha presentado 20 denuncias ante fiscal\u00edas estatales y de condado de Estados Unidos por la muerte de 17 connacionales ocurridas desde mayo durante operativos o bajo custodia del ICE. \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El embajador de M\u00e9xico en Estados Unidos, Roberto Lazzeri, se reunir\u00e1 este mi\u00e9rcoles con la familia de\u00a0Lorenzo Salgado,\u00a0un migrante mexicano que muri\u00f3 tiroteado por agentes del Servicio de Inmigraci\u00f3n y Aduanas (ICE) durante un operativo.
