Ahora mismo no puedo pagarte mucho, pero si aceptas,\u00a0<strong>te convertir\u00e9 en una estrella<\/strong>&#8220;, seg\u00fan la p\u00e1gina web del grupo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nacido en Texas en 1951<\/strong>, hijo de un predicador, Willis comenz\u00f3 a cantar en el coro de la iglesia de su padre y se form\u00f3 en Nueva York, donde particip\u00f3 en obras de teatro y musicales.<\/p>\n<p>Willis permaneci\u00f3 poco m\u00e1s de dos a\u00f1os en el grupo, tiempo en el que coescribi\u00f3 \u00e9xitos mundiales como &#8216;YMCA&#8217;,\u00a0<strong>&#8216;In the Navy&#8217;, &#8216;Macho Man&#8217; y &#8216;Go West&#8217;<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Victor Willis, vocalista principal de la formaci\u00f3n original de\u00a0Village People\u00a0y coautor de \u00e9xitos como\u00a0&#8216;YMCA&#8217;, falleci\u00f3 a los 74 a\u00f1os tras una &#8220;corta pero\u00a0agresiva enfermedad&#8220;.
