En M&eacute;xico, por ejemplo, el 54 por ciento de las mujeres que decidieron interrumpir la gestaci&oacute;n, estaban usando un m&eacute;todo anticonceptivo al momento de quedar embarazadas.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-align: justify;font-size: 16px;line-height: 24px\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, sans-serif\">Es por ello que Pfizer ha lanzado una inyecci&oacute;n subcut&aacute;nea reversible como un aliado de autocolocaci&oacute;n, que disminuye adem&aacute;s el presupuesto destinado a la protecci&oacute;n contra un embarazo, pues &uacute;nicamente se administra cada tres meses, con un costo de 370 pesos.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;line-height: 24px\">Aunque el anticonceptivo a&uacute;n se encuentra en proceso de llegar al sector salud p&uacute;blico, la nueva opci&oacute;n podr&aacute; ser empleada por mujeres en edad reproductiva que no desean o no pueden tomar estr&oacute;genos por padecimientos como diabetes, alergias o problemas cardiovasculares, interesadas en la planificaci&oacute;n familiar.&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;line-height: 24px\"><br \/><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;line-height: 24px\">De acuerdo con la Doctora Josefina Lira Plascencia, Vicepresidenta del Colegio Mexicano de Ginecolog&iacute;a y Obstetricia (COMEGO), durante el tiempo de estudio de la inyecci&oacute;n no se detect&oacute; ninguna falla, con lo que se espera que su utilizaci&oacute;n disminuya los 372 mil nacimientos en menores de 19 a&ntilde;os que se presentaron en 2014 en nuestro pa&iacute;s.&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;line-height: 24px\">Sobre todo, como comenta, porque en M&eacute;xico el 65 por ciento de las mujeres no usa un m&eacute;todo anticonceptivo y este comienza a funcionar apenas un d&iacute;a despu&eacute;s de haberse colocado.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;line-height: 24px\"><br \/><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;line-height: 24px\">&#8220;Previa consulta con el m&eacute;dico, las mujeres tendr&aacute;n la oportunidad de aplicar el anticonceptivo fuera de un entorno cl&iacute;nico.
