El mundo de la lucha libre está de luto.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wayde Douglas Bowles, mejor conocido como Rocky ‘Soul Man’ Johnson, murió a los 75 años,<\/strong> anunció la WWE a través de su cuenta de Twitter.<\/p>\n

Reconocido como el primer afroamericano en ser campeón en la historia de la WWE, Rocky se hizo de un lugar especial<\/strong> en este deporte.<\/p>\n

Inició su carrera a mediados de 1960, se retiró en 1991 y fue introducido al Salón de la Fama de la WWE<\/strong> en una ceremonia dirigida por su hijo el actor Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.<\/p>\n

El actor siempre se mostró agradecido con su padre<\/strong> por el apoyo que le brindó a lo largo de su carrera, tanto en la parte deportiva como en Hollywood.<\/p>\n

Una de las anécdotas más emotivas contadas por el artista fue cuando quiso comprarle una casa.
<\/strong>“Le llamé a mi padre y le dije: ‘mira, sé que estás feliz donde vives, pero quiero hacer algo por ti, quiero comprarte una casa nueva donde tú me digas’. Mi papa, educado a la antigua, no sabía bien qué decir. ‘Nadie me había dicho que quería comprarme una casa. Eres mi hijo y estoy muy orgulloso de ti. Te amo tanto’”<\/p>\n

Dawyne explicó que nunca había visto y escuchado tan emocionado<\/strong> a su padre.<\/p>\n

“Se sintió bien en mi corazón. Mi papá fue duro conmigo; en aquel momento lo odié, pero estoy muy agradecido. Se siente bien darle algo de regreso a quien te ha criado”<\/p>\n

Hasta el momento, The Rock<\/strong> no ha dado declaración alguna sobre las causas del fallecimiento.<\/p>\n
