El piloto mexicano de Racing Point<\/a><\/strong>, Sergio Pérez<\/a><\/strong>, aceptó reducirse el salario voluntariamente por los estragos financieros producidos por la pandemia del COVID-19, al igual que su coequipero Lance Stroll, afirma la cadena británica BBC.<\/p>\n

“Los conductores Sergio Pérez y Lance Stroll, hijo del multimillonario propietario del equipo Lawrence Stroll, tomaron un recorte de sueldo voluntario”, sostuvo la cadena.<\/p>\n

Racing Point no dio detalles de cuánto habrían reducido los salarios ambos pilotos, pero la <\/span>BBC<\/span> también aseguró que otros miembros de la escudería fueron “suspendidos temporalmente”.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Los que también sufrieron un recorte salarial fueron los pilotos de Williams, George Russell y Nicholas Latifi, que vieron recortado su salario en 20%, al igual que los directivos de la escudería.<\/p>\n

El equipo inglés también informó que tuvo que poner a varios de sus miembros “en licencia forzada hasta finales de mayo”, también, por el coronavirus<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n
