Por primera vez en la historia un latinoamericano será presidente y director ejecutivo de un equipo de la NHL, la Liga de hockey sobre hielo de Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n

Xavier Gutiérrez, de origen mexicano, fue nombrado ayer para ocupar ambos cargos por los Coyotes de Arizona.<\/p>\n

El anuncio lo hizo <\/span>Alex<\/span> <\/span>Meruelo<\/span>, quien es a su vez el primer propietario latino que controla un equipo de esta Liga. <\/span>Meruelo<\/span> adquirió el año pasado un paquete de acciones mayoritario.<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n

Gutiérrez fue director gerente del <\/span>Clearlake<\/span> Capital <\/span>Group<\/span> y jefe de inversiones del <\/span>Meruelo<\/span> <\/span>Group<\/span>, propiedad de <\/span>Alex<\/span> <\/span>Meruelo<\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
