El excampeón Mediano del Consejo Mundial de Boxeo (CMB<\/a>), Julio César Chávez Jr.<\/a><\/strong> (51-5-1, 33 KO”s) regresó al ring, después de una ausencia de nueve meses, con una polémica derrota.<\/p>\n

La pelea estelar en Tijuana ante el peleador invicto Mario Cázares<\/strong><\/a>, pactada a 10 rounds en peso Semicompleto<\/strong>, fue detenida en el sexto round debido a un corte sobre el ojo izquierdo de Chávez<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

En las tarjetas, los jueces vieron ganar a Cázares<\/strong> (13-0) por 57-56, 59-54 y 57-56. El réferi le redujo a Mario <\/strong>un punto por un cabezazo intencional durante la segunda ronda.<\/p>\n

“No sé con qué ganó la pelea y le dan la decisión. No me ganó, me dio dos cabezazos, no se vale. Me trajeron para hacerme la maldad”, dijo Chávez Jr.<\/strong> tras finalizar la pelea.<\/p>\n

La última vez que el hijo de la leyenda subió al ring fue el pasado 20 de diciembre cuando perdió ante el estadounidense Daniel Jacobs <\/strong>(36-3-0, 30 KO”s) al abandonar la pelea en el sexto asalto debido a una lesión en la nariz en la Talking Stick Resort Arena de Phoenix, Arizona<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
