Todos sabemos lo que significa el Salón de la Fama de Cooperstown<\/a> en la MLB<\/a><\/strong>. Allí, están los mejores peloteros que pasaron por las Grandes Ligas, dejando un rastro inborrable gracias a su increíble trayectoria como jugadores activos.<\/p>\n

Sin embargo, lamentablemente existe una mancha que poco a poco está siendo borrada en la Gran Carpa: La poca participación de las mujeres en la liga, que hasta hace poco tiempo han sido incluídas como miembro del personal administrativo.<\/p>\n

Aunque, es de resaltar que existe una mujer inmortal del béisbol<\/strong><\/a> en Cooperstown. La afortunada es Effa Manley, <\/strong>a quien le fue realizada una placa en 2006 para agregarla a dicho sitio de honor tras haber participado en las Ligas Negras.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Manley <\/strong>fue propietaria de los Newark Eagles <\/strong>junto a su esposo, ganando la Serie Mundial de las Ligas Negras en 1946 ante Kansas City Monarchs, dejando un legado increíble en la huella de este deporte.<\/p>\n
