Aremi Fuentes se alzó con la medalla de bronce en halterofilia femenil en la categoría de 76 kg, otorgándole así la tercera medalla olímpica para la delegación mexicana.<\/p>\n
Fuentes levantó 105 kg, 108 kg en sus dos primeros intentos, quedando corta en el tercero de 110kg, se colocó en la primera parte del evento en cuarto lugar.<\/p>\n
Ya en la segunda etapa inicio de gran forma pues la mexicana logró levantar 135 kg en el segundo intento manifestó su poderío al levantar 137 kg. Aunque, en su tercer intento no logró levantar los 139 kg, obteniendo así un total de 245kg, lo que la posicionó en el tercer lugar.<\/p>\n
