Navojoa, Sonora; 24 de marzo de 2022.- Juan González Alvarado, coordinador estatal de Protección Civil, tomó protesta al Consejo Municipal de Protección Civil de Navojoa, organismo que será liderado por el alcalde Mario Martín Martínez Bojórquez “Mayito”.<\/p>\n

Junto al presidente municipal tomaron protesta Julián Aguilera Zaragoza, secretario del Ayuntamiento; Jesús Edmundo Valdez, coordinador municipal de Protección Civil y otras personalidades del mismo municipio.<\/p>\n

Gracias a la conformación de este organismo, Navojoa tendrá la capacidad de atender de manera integral los protocolos de protección civil en el municipio y la región.<\/p>\n

El Consejo Municipal lo integran funcionarios de los tres órdenes de gobierno y miembros de la sociedad civil.<\/p>\n

Juan González dio a conocer los antecedentes de la protección civil en México y puntualizó las labores que tendrá el Comité Municipal. Detalló, además la importancia de transitar de una protección civil reactiva a una preventiva, trabajando de la mano sociedad y gobierno.<\/p>\n

Lo anterior, por la importancia de fortalecer la protección del municipio de los efectos destructores de los desastres naturales, preservando no sólo las vidas, sino también los bienes materiales indispensables para la supervivencia y el desarrollo.
