Tepic, Nay.<\/em> <\/span>Un menor de cuatro meses de edad podría ser el primer caso de hepatitis aguda infantil grave en Nayarit, informó Francisco Munguía Pérez, secretario de Salud estatal.<\/p>\n

El funcionario indicó que el menor fue enviado para su atención especializada a Guadalajara, Jalisco, y aún se está en espera de los resultados de los exámenes de laboratorio del Instituto de Diagnóstico y Referencia Epidemiológicos (INDRE) de la capital del país para confirmar o descartar su padecimiento.<\/p>\n

Explicó que el infante recibió atención hospitalaria en Tepic, pero se ordenó su traslado a un centro de especialidades en la capital de Jalisco, el fin de semana, por presentar síntomas propios de hepatitis, enfermedad grave causada por adenovirus, con síntomas de fiebre, dolores musculares, diarrea, vómito y color amarillo piel y ojos, así como evacuaciones blancas en heces fecales.<\/p>\n

El 15 de abril de 2022, la OMS publicó una alerta sobre casos de hepatitis aguda grave de causa desconocida en niños en el Reino Unido. Desde principios de mayo, los casos de hepatitis infantil aguda han encendido las alertas en México; sin embargo, lo que hasta ahora se sabe de este padecimiento y su propagación es muy poco.<\/p>\n
