Una de las figuras icónicas de la lucha libre mexicana es <\/span>Octagón<\/strong>, esteta que brillara en la década de los ochenta y noventa en las dos grandes empresas de nuestro país: El <\/span>Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre<\/strong> <\/span>y la entonces naciente <\/span>AAA<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Pese a convertirse en uno de los fundadores de la Tres Veces Estelar<\/strong>, el gladiador de origen veracruzano reconoció que fue en el CMLL<\/strong> que se convirtió en figura del pancracio nacional.<\/p>\n

“Hice pareja con el Santo<\/strong>, fuimos campeones nacionales, campeones mundiales en el 91. Campeones de tercias con Máscara Sagrada, Atlantis<\/strong> y su servidor, todo en el Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre<\/strong>. El Consejo Mundial fue el que me vio crecer, el que me dio la oportunidad y el que me hizo estrella<\/strong>, ya como Octagón<\/strong>“, apuntó en charla con Toño De Valdés.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Ahora a la distancia, ya de vuelta en el Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre<\/strong> en el que revive su histórica rivalidad con Fuerza Guerrera<\/strong>, Octagón<\/strong> se sinceró y apuntó que marcharse fue “uno de sus errores más grandes”.<\/p>\n

“Fue uno de los errores más grandes de mi vida el haberme salido del Consejo Mundial<\/strong>, porque me dio la oportunidad, me colocó y me hizo estrella. El señor (Francisco) Alonso Lutteroth<\/strong> me dio la confianza, pero conocí a Toño Peña<\/strong>, que trabajaba en el Consejo Mundial<\/strong>, y cuando estás chavo tienes muchas inquietudes y crees que uno se puede creer el mundo a mordidas y una de esas cosa fue la primera desbandada en la lucha libre<\/strong>, fue cuando Konnan<\/strong>, tu servidor y Toño Peña<\/strong> hicimos la AAA<\/strong>“, sentenció.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
