Copenhague.- La fundación Right Livelihood Award<\/em> otorgó este miércoles el denominado “Nobel Alternativo” 2014 a Edward Snowden, por revelar la vigilancia de Estados Unidos que “viola procesos democráticos básicos y derechos constitucionales”.<\/span><\/p>\n

El jurado otorgó al exanalista de la CIA el galardón honorífico, el cual no está acompañado de dotación económica.<\/p>\n

La distinción también fue otorgada a Alan Rusbridger, director del diario británico The Guardian<\/em>, que reveló documentos filtrados por Snowden.<\/p>\n

También recibieron el “Nobel Alternativo” la Comisión Asiática de Derechos Humanos (CADH) y su director, Basil Fernando; el estadounidense Bill McKibben, comprometido en la lucha contra el calentamiento global, y la abogada paquistaní Asma Jahangir.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
